Summer has come to Hampton this week, and we have all been enjoying the upturn in weather – long may this continue, although I believe the weekend may be slightly less enjoyable! Over the coming weeks, I expect many lunchtimes will be spent relaxing on the fields, basking in the May sunshine, lulled into a state of soporific contentment by the buzzing of bees. On which note – I do hope some of the boys take part in Beekeeping Club this term, it really is the best time to see them in action, and maybe even take some honey home afterwards!
I hope the boys make the most of the summer opportunities available to them, and strike a balance between this and preparation for the summer exams.
ESFA Cup Final
I think the highlight for many this week has been re-watching the highlights from the U18 ESFA Cup Final in Assembly on Thursday. It certainly brought back some great memories of a fantastic day out!

On a final note, congratulations to Will O, for his participation in the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain over the Easter break. What a fantastic achievement, and a great opportunity to play with renowned brass soloist Allen Vizzutti.
HSPA Summer Picnic
One important date for all your diaries – please do ‘Save the Date’ for the HSPA Summer Picnic on Sunday 23 June from 12 – 4pm. This will be an opportunity for everyone connected to the School to enjoy some fine weather and company – more details will follow from the HSPA in due course.
I’m sure there will be plenty to update you all about next week once we’ve enjoyed our first full week back. In the meantime, enjoy your sport and activities this weekend.
