If your son is going to be absent from School and this is known in advance (for example if he has a dental or medical appointment during School hours), notice of this should be given in advance to his Form Tutor. If notice is given by email, the email should be copied to absence@hamptonschool.org.uk.
If pupils are absent for unforeseen reasons, for example through illness, please would you ensure that you telephone the School Office (020 8979 5526) or email your son’s Form Tutor, copying the email to absence@hamptonschool.org.uk, on that day and any subsequent days until he returns. If your son has been absent (or has missed homework), he must bring his Form Tutor an explanatory note, signed by a parent, stating how long he has been away on his return (email communication from a parent is also acceptable).
