Hampton’s musical year got off to an outstanding start at this year’s Scholars’ Concert, where an audience of pupils, parents and staff enjoyed an evening of exceptional performances in the Hammond Theatre.

The concert highlighted both the remarkable talent of Hampton’s musicians and the breadth of the School’s musical life. A programme spanning centuries of classical music featured works by composers including Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann and Tchaikovsky, brought to life from talented musicians from First Year to Sixth Form.

Performers took to the stage, showcasing their abilities on a variety of instruments. From violin and piano to flute, trumpet and sitar, each performance demonstrated the dedication and enthusiasm that scholars bring to their music-making.

The concert was a fitting celebration of Hampton’s thriving musical community and offered an exciting glimpse of the year ahead. With many concerts, recitals and ensemble performances still to come, the Scholars’ Concert set a wonderfully high standard for the months ahead.
