The achievements of Hamptonians took centre stage at Senior Prizegiving 2026, as the School community gathered to celebrate a year marked by academic excellence, personal endeavour and exceptional contribution.
Held in front of an audience of pupils, parents, Governors, staff and invited guests, the ceremony recognised academic excellence alongside accomplishments in sport, music, drama, leadership, service and the wider life of the School.
More than 300 prizes were presented to pupils across a wide range of disciplines, reflecting the talent, commitment and character demonstrated by Hamptonians throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
Among the evening’s most prestigious honours, the Fitzwygram Cup, awarded to the most outstanding Upper Sixth pupil, was presented to Eddie Haycock. The Dennis King Cup for unselfish service to the School was awarded to Alfred Bancroft, while the Howes Cup recognised the outstanding contribution of the School Captains, Alfred Bancroft, James Eggleton, Mikael Nur, Ben Rowe and Monty Seager.
A highlight of the evening was the premiere of the Hampton School film celebrating the Class of 2026. The film looked back on the journey of this year’s Upper Sixth through their time at Hampton, blending humour, nostalgia and memorable moments from School life. Referencing School Captain Eddie’s observation that “these seven years are probably going to be the best of my life”, the film provided a fitting tribute to a year group whose contribution to Hampton has been exceptional.
