The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme at Hampton continues to go from strength to strength.
Since the scheme began in 1956, more than 4,500 Hamptonians have completed their DofE Award. With over 300 pupils taking part each year, Hampton remains one of the largest and most popular DofE schemes in the country.
This year, pupils across the year groups embraced new challenges, demonstrated excellent teamwork and enjoyed plenty of adventure while completing Gold and Silver DofE expeditions across Snowdonia, the New Forest and Dorset. Throughout, pupils showed impressive resilience, determination and adaptability – supporting one another, navigating demanding terrain and maintaining high standards.
Particular congratulations go to Monty, Aran, and Tom, who recently received their Gold Awards at Buckingham Palace – a fantastic achievement.
