Hampton welcomed 21 local prep schools for the much-anticipated Maths Wizard Competition

Year 5 teams put their skills to the test across five fast-paced and challenging rounds, from tackling tricky logic puzzles in Always, Sometimes, Never to cracking codes in the Symbols challenge.

The competition ended with an exciting group challenge finale, where every point counted.

Congratulations to all the young mathematicians who took part and represented their schools so brilliantly.

A special well done to Surbiton High Boys’ Prep School, who secured third place, Hampton Prep, who achieved an impressive second place finish, and this year’s champions, Willington Prep School, who lifted the Maths Wizard Trophy 2026!
