A Stellar Season for Hampton Sevens
Hampton’s Rugby players have enjoyed an exceptional season on the sevens circuit, with impressive achievements across all age groups highlighting the strength and depth of the School’s rugby programme.
First VII shine on national stage
Plaudits go to Hampton’s First VII for one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory. Fresh from their triumph in the Surrey Cup, the squad advanced to Day 2 of the prestigious Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens – an achievement that placed them among the top 12 rugby schools in the country at the 2026 tournament.
The Second VII also delivered standout performances, completing an unbeaten run to lift the Halliford Floodlit VIIs trophy – a superb accomplishment that reflects the squad’s teamwork and resilience.
Strong performances across the age groups
Success continued throughout the younger year groups:
- U16s – Middlesex Cup Champions
- U15s – Winners of the Surrey Sevens Plate
- U13s – Champions at the St John’s Beaumont Sevens
- U12s – Runners-Up at the Reigate Sevens and Shield Winners at the Orleans Park Sevens
These results underline the talent emerging across all levels of Hampton Rugby. Director of Rugby, Mr Beattie, commended all for their commitment throughout the season:
