Hampton’s musicians excelled at the 2025 Kingston-upon-Thames Music Festival. The performing arts festival, which has been running for over 80 years, provides musicians of all ages the opportunity to perform in a range of categories in front of a small audience, as well as receive valuable feedback on their performance.
Lower Sixth musician Samuel won the Rowland Howells Cup as well as the David Speed Andrew’s Cup for an exceptional vocal performance. Samuel was also a member of the Clarinet Ensemble, along with James, Jason and Jayen. The group took home two awards, including the prestigious Addison Denny Rosebowl.

Congratulations to all Hamptonians who took part in this year’s festival.
