First Year Hamptonians completed a sponsored Readathon over the Easter holidays raising over £2,300 for our Form Charity partners.

First Years were encouraged to pick up a good book over the Easter break, with sponsorship from their family and friends. The event aimed to promote reading for pleasure, as well as raise much-needed funds for this year’s Form Charities: UNICEF, Alzheimer’s Society and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. As well as the Readathon, First Years also held a second hand book collection which were donated to Learn to Love to Read, a charity which supports children’s reading in the early years of primary school. Thank you for everyone’s support.
