Many congratulations to our Junior Piano Trio who made it through to the finals of the prestigious Pro Corda Chamber Music Festival.
After a series of highly competitive regional heats involving musicians from around the country, 40 ensembles were selected for the finals including the Hampton U14 Piano Trio consisting of violinist Rafferty O’C-Z (First Year); cellist Louis C (Second Year) and pianist David T (Third Year). This is the first time that a Hampton ensemble has reached the Pro Corda finals and our young musicians gave a superb rendition of a Carl Reinecke movement.
