A group of 30 Second Year Hamptonians headed to Europe’s largest natural harbour in Poole for an action-packed weekend on the water.
Taking full advantage of the beautiful weather, the young adventurers enjoyed activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking. The autumn water temperature was a little chilly but soon forgotten, with the help of a few layers of clothing and a wetsuit! Having gained their sea legs, the Second Years thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the surf.
After a full day of fun on the water, pupils threw themselves into fun back on land, enjoying evening games of volleyball and football on the beach. There was also an opportunity to go crabbing, all of which were returned to the sea unharmed!
