It was a pleasure to welcome hundreds of families from across the local area to the 2024 Hampton School Open Morning. The event was a wonderful opportunity for prospective pupils to explore everything the School has to offer.
Throughout the morning, visitors enjoyed pupil-led tours of the School giving them a sense of what it means to be a Hamptonian. The Science departments drew excitement with plenty of interactive experiments, while Maths posed fiendish puzzles and English challenged with literary teasers. In Computer Science, everyone had fun racing the Bit:Bot robots, while in Design and Engineering the 3D printer offered a glimpse of the department’s cutting-edge technology.
From badminton and rowing to cricket nets and basketball, sports enthusiasts had the opportunity to explore the wide range of sports on offer. Visitors also enjoyed a selection of delicious snacks in the Dining Hall, while the smoothie bike allowed pupils to concoct their very own fresh fruit drink. Music and Drama performances added to the lively atmosphere, making these popular stops along the tour route.
