The Hampton beekeeping club is celebrating a bumper honey harvest.
Made up of pupils from across the year groups, our apiarists discovered the bees have been extremely industrious with every frame of the Hampton hives full of honeycomb.
After collecting the frames and bringing them back to the school building, our young beekeepers have already used the honey extractor to remove 25 kilos of the amber nectar ready for bottling – and eating!
