Hampton’s rock musicians took to the stage to perform classic and contemporary tunes at the Summer Rock Concert.
The Hammond Theatre was treated to a night of superb rock performances, as seventeen acts from soloists to full rock bands entertained an appreciative audience.
Hamptonians played a varied setlist featuring rock anthems and classics, with the Intermediate Rock Band covering the Queen of the Stone Age track Song for the Dead and the Senior Rock Band performing the Fleetwood Mac song The Chain. Junior Rock Band A played a toe-tapping rendition of We are the Champions by Queen, and there were a range of fantastic solo performances from Third Year musicians Harry, Oliver and Bailey, as well as departing Upper Sixth Rock Concert stalwart Monty.
