Hampton’s U15A rugby squad enjoyed an excellent run in the national Schools Cup tournament reaching the final eight teams in the competition.

Facing a strong Radley College in the quarter-finals, Fourth Year Hamptonians put on an impressive performance with the two sides neck and neck until the closing minutes, when a last-minute try from the opposition booked Radley a place in the semi-finals.

The U15s coach, Mr Scarratt, says his young players have much to be proud of:

THE U15A PLAYERS HAVE WORKED VERY HARD THIS SEASON AND IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY REWARDING TO SEE THEM GROW TOGETHER AS A TEAM. THE QUARTER-FINAL WAS A PHENOMENAL MATCH SHOWCASING HOW TALENTED THIS YOUNG TEAM IS. It will be exciting TO WATCH THEse Hamptonians CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND ENJOY THEIR RUGBY IN THE YEARS TO COME.
