Professor of Politics at the University of Strathclyde, Sir John is a regular media commentator and President of the British Polling Council and has written extensively on political and social attitudes, the electoral strategy of political parties and the coalitions of support they build in national elections. Sir John is a regular feature on the BBC, Sky News and Times Radio and is known for his accurate predictions of the outcome of UK general elections.
