The annual New Pupils’ Concert showcased the talents of 40 new pupils as they performed an eclectic selection of music to an audience of delighted parents and staff.
Musicians who recently joined the School took to the Hammond Theatre stage to entertain the audience with a carefully selected setlist of both classic and contemporary performances. From Bizet to Scott Joplin and Vivaldi to Ed Sheeran, our talented young musicians performed on a range of instruments including the drums, double bass, electric guitar and piano.
First Year Hamptonian Xander relished the experience:
I played the drums with the First Year Band Thunderstrike and we performed Highway to Hell by Ac/DC. It was brilliant to be on the Hammond Theatre Stage performing with my friends, it was a really fun experience which I would definitely like to do again.
The future of music at Hampton School is in excellent hands! Take a look at the video below to get a flavour of the evening:Back to All Articles
