Hampton pupils and staff celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with a Coronation Lunch fit for a king!
The “Great” British weather didn’t dampen spirits as Hamptonians enjoyed a special coronation-themed lunch to mark the recent coronation. Pupils also celebrated with ice creams, a penalty shoot-out and plenty of games, including Hook the King Duck, Play your Cards Right, Guess how many Lions in the Jar and Quoits.
Hamptonians from across the year groups ascended the throne for a royal portrait as they took part in a regal photo booth. They also feasted on a wonderful fruit and cream sponge cake made especially for the lunch by our catering staff. Cartoonist David Lewis OH (1986) returned to School to help celebrate the occasion by creating a memorable cartoon of the day’s events.
