There was an impressive turnout of literary characters from our Second Years to mark World Book Day 2023. From Gandalf to Frankenstein and Harry Potter to Sherlock Holmes, boys and their teachers enjoyed representing their favourite characters, while raising money for Form Charity.
The day also included a presentation and question and answer session for budding authors led by young adult-fiction author Matt Whyman, best known for books including Boy Kills Man and The Savages.
Well done to all on some ingenious costumes, and congratulations to Alexander Melikyan (aka Gandalf!) who took the ‘Best Costume of the Day Award’.
