Hampton athletes delivered an excellent performance at the 2023 Middlesex Schools’ Cross Country Championships.

Six Hamptonians from First Year to Upper Sixth represented Richmond Borough in the championships which were contested at Harrow School.

Congratulations to Third Year athlete Marcus Solomon who defended his U15 title with another strong performance in the 4.2 kilometre race. Upper Sixth Former Henry Fagan also fared well in the U19 event with a commendable fifth place finish over the 6.6 kilometre course. Marcus and Henry will now both represent Middlesex at the English Schools’ Cross Country Championships due to take place in Nottingham in March.

There were also superb performances from Hamptonians across the year groups: First Year Isaac De Quintal, Third Year Owen Parker, and Sixth Formers Daniel Clarke and Freddie Bate all raced well in their respective events. Well done to all our cross country runners who have represented the School in the 2022-23 season.
