Hamptonians put their model gliders to the test this week in Model Aviation Club.
During the autumn term, the popular club has been focusing on the basics of flight design, and the finished gliders, made from composite foam board, were impressively sophisticated.
Test flight day, saw over 20 Hamptonians launch their models into the air – with varying degrees of success! The club members will now progress onto constructing more sophisticated model aircraft and quadcopters.
