The annual New Boys’ Concert showcased the talents of 42 new pupils as they performed an eclectic selection of music to an audience of delighted parents and staff.

Musicians who recently joined the School took to the Hammond Theatre stage to entertain the audience with a carefully selected setlist of both classic and contemporary performances. From Chopin to John Williams and Bach to the Beatles, our talented young musicians performed on a range of instruments including the cello, electric guitar, trumpet and piano.

Music teacher and organiser of the event, Mr Ewan Zuckert, praised the musicians on their first performance in the Hammond Theatre:

This year’s NEW BOYS’ CONCERT WAS A FANTASTIC EVENING FOR PERFORMERS AND AUDIENCE ALIKE. OVER 40 New Hamptonians performed and WE WERE TREATED TO EVERYTHING FROM ELECTRIC GUITAR AND DRUMMING, TO TRUMPET AND VIOLIN PERFORMANCES. THE FUTURE OF MUSIC AT HAMPTON SCHOOL IS IN EXCELLENT HANDS!
