The highly anticipated annual trip to Avon Tyrrell saw First Years forging new friendships over a week of exciting adventures.

Outstanding weather in the New Forest meant that First Year Hamptonians could try their hand at a vast range of activities and challenges. These included; high ropes, orienteering, night walks, archery and much more! Pupils particularly enjoyed the catapults, which saw them working as a team to collect points by hitting numbered barrels. The trip concluded with each team constructing their own raft, before settling sail on the Avon Tyrrell lake!

The new Hamptonians had lots of fun as they developed their lateral thinking, communication and team work skills, as well as forming friendships which will extend into the rest of their time at the School.
