Hampton’s rock musicians took to the stage to perform classic and contemporary tunes at the Summer Rock Concert.
A packed Drama Studio was treated to a night of rock and roll performances, as thirteen acts from soloists to full rock bands entertained an appreciative audience.
Hamptonians constructed a varied setlist featuring modern rock anthems, with the Intermediate Rock Band covering Royal Blood’s Loose Change and the Senior Rock Band performing Arctic Monkey’s Fluorescent Adolescent. Well known rock and metal classics were also included, as Junior Rock Band A played Jimi Hendrix’s Hey Joe and William McKillop bass rendition of Metallica’s For Whom The Bell Tolls.
