Throughout the term Hamptonians from all years have attended the Writers’ Room to explore the craft and engage with other writers. The club has been generously funded by the HSPA.
The first sessions of the club began with the boys pondering the origin of their favourite stories and why they are drawn to them. Recent meetings have included in depth discussions around character development and creating their own characters.
Second Years Afalyan and Sriyan had a great time at the club
We think it is a marvellous way to encourage our creative writing skills and a way to develop our imaginations and to be able to transform our ideas into writing. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves creative writing.
The Writers’ Room runs in Room 53 at 12:35pm, on Wednesday for First to Third Years and on Friday for Fourth Year to Upper Sixth.
