To support Afghan refugees in our local area, we have been in contact with the Afghanistan & Central Asian Association. They are based in Feltham and have let us know that they would appreciate donations of some specific items:
- Suitcases, rucksacks (zips working, no holes, etc.)
- Warm coats: all ages
- 3-16 year old boys’ clothes (new/good condition)
- Women’s shoes size 36-41 – practical shoes (e.g. boots, trainers)
- Women’s dresses mid length/below the knee
- Pushchairs
A collection point will be at the main entrance of School on the morning of Tuesday 28 September at which pupils can drop off any of the above items as they arrive.
We have been asked to restrict the collections to these items only at present.
