Hamptonians and their parents had much to celebrate on results day after receiving confirmation from national awarding bodies of superb A Level and Pre-U grades.
Our talented Class of 2021 rose splendidly to the challenges of the past 18 months, showing impressive fortitude in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, periods of national lockdown and the cancellation of summer 2021 public examinations.
A fittingly sunny results morning saw many of this year’s Upper Sixth enjoy a reunion at School with their peers; after collecting their results, they gathered with parents in the Cloisters to celebrate each other’s success in securing places at leading universities in the UK and overseas.
Alongside praising our pupils’ excellent academic achievements, it is important to pay tribute to the dedication, professionalism and integrity of Hampton’s teaching and non-teaching staff, and also to thank parents and other family members for their support – for their children and the School community – during such unpredictable and uncertain times. It has been a remarkable team effort!
Our 2021 Leavers’ outstanding results are well deserved and they should be proud of all they have individually and collectively contributed during their time with us; they leave with our warmest congratulations and heartfelt good wishes for the future.
