Hampton’s cricket teams have enjoyed an exceptional season, winning 112 of their 150 matches. Six of our cricket squads have retained 100% success records.

The First XI have seen some excellent results including wins against Dulwich College and King’s College School, as well as reaching the quarter final of the HMC National Cup. The U12A cricketers made an impressive start to their Hampton cricketing careers with victory in the Middlesex Cup, a feat also achieved by the U14A team. The U14A cricketers also reached the South final of the National Cup, an achievement matched by the U17A squad.

Matches have been played with enthusiasm and sportsmanship and there have been some notable individual performances. Upper Sixth batsman Tanmay Thanawalla has been in outstanding form, recording two centuries for the First XI whilst Lower Sixth bowler Kyle Seth took six wickets against Tiffin School. First XI Captain Matt Avant-Smith led from the front showing excellent professionalism both during training and matches. Under his captaincy, the First XI won 13 of their 16 matches played. Five pupils, Faizan Faraz, Pravin Kiritharan, Gabriel Robertson, Thomas Tabor and Freddie Tranter, have also taken hat-tricks this season, as well as six of our batsmen scoring centuries, some incredible cricketing on display during the summer term.
