Hampton’s senior rugby players were given the opportunity to demonstrate their talents to the full as they chalked up a score of 25-6 in an exciting game against Whitgift School.

In only the second game for the First XV since restrictions on team sport were lifted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Hamptonians defended brilliantly limiting the opposition to two long range penalties. In attack, Hampton also impressed, capitalising on space to score three well-worked tries.

Their convincing win follows victory against St Benedict’s School last week. The First XV team now face Epsom, Wellington and Brighton for the final three games of this rather unusual season.
