Hampton History have begun gathering vlogs from pupils giving their view of notable people who contributed to the country’s war efforts during World War Two. Two Lower Sixth historians, Jake Amor and Josh Bartholomew, have shared their insights. Find out more below.

Jake Amor tells us about General Bernard Law Montgomery, one of the most prominent and successful British commanders of the Second World War.

Josh Bartholomew tells us more about William Beveridge, a highly regarded economist and leading social reformer.

Hampton History would love to receive more stories from Hamptonians. Perhaps there’s a local figure or someone you’ve read about that you think should be remembered? If you have a vlog you would like to share, contact Mrs Arnott e.arnott@hamptonschool.org.uk or Mrs Willcox s.willcox@hamptonschool.org.uk
