Book Character Day proved a fun and creative opportunity to encourage reading and raise money for Form Charity.

Second Year pupils dressed up in a range of colourful costumes based on their favourite books. Fictional characters ranging from Inspector Poirot to Robin Hood and Willy Wonka to Where’s Wally were spotted roaming the Hampton corridors.

The day included creative writing workshops led by young adult author Matt Killeen who shared literary wisdom and answered our budding writers questions.

The boys raised money for Form Charity while enjoying the day. Zach Kissell and Rohan Chen both won the prize for best costume. Zach spent the day as the Hungry Caterpillar from Eric Carle’s famous picture book, while Rohan dressed as Mr Tickle from Roger Hargreaves Mr Men series.
