Hampton’s runners performed well at the Middlesex Cross Country Championships, with second place finishers in three of the races.

Sixteen boys represented Hampton and Richmond in the Championships held at Harrow School. All of the athletes performed exceptionally well in tough conditions on a challenging course.

In the Sixth Form event, two Hamptonians finished in the top ten with Declan Connolly finishing in second place closely followed by Pavit Kullar in sixth.

Our younger athletes also fared well, with Ollie Swetman finishing second in the First Year event. Finlay Hawker had a strong second place finish in the combined Second and Third Year race, with Freddie Bate finishing just behind in fourth.

Six of our athletes, a record number for the School, will now go forward to represent Middlesex at the All England Championships in Liverpool later this term.
