Following a highly successful Form Charity collection, Hampton School sent over 1,000 much-needed items to Richmond Foodbank.

Richmond Foodbank provides a vital lifeline to local families in need and an appeal went out on its behalf to the Hampton community requesting toiletries, household cleaning products and specific food products.  Among the donations were 15kg of raisins, 100 bottles of washing up liquid, 480 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, dozens of cartons of juice and much more.

Staff at the foodbank were delighted with the overwhelming response from Hampton’s pupils, parents and staff:

Thank you so much for your generous donation to Richmond Foodbank. Many of the people that we see here at the Foodbank are going through a particularly hard time and your donation makes such a difference.

Hampton School Charity Co-ordinator Mrs Augusta Samuel added her thanks to all who brought in goods:

Thank you so much to all of you who donated so generously. All of your donations have now been delivered to the Richmond Foodbank, where they will be given to families and individuals in need.
