Director of Communications & Engagement for DExEU (Department for Exiting the European Union), Olivier Evans, will present a lunchtime talk on Thursday 19 September in The Hammond Theatre.

Olivier plays a key role in explaining the discussions and decisions around Brexit to the wider audience. Having also worked as a Europe advisor during the Coalition Government, speechwriter to the President of the European Commission, Spokesman and Head of lobbying in Brussels, EU lead in our Embassy to France, as well as having been part of the original Constitutional Treaty negotiating team, he’s seen most angles to European work. More recently, Deputy Ambassador to Mexico and Deputy Trade Commissioner for Latin America and the Caribbean, Olivier studied at Cambridge University and the LSE before heading into the world of diplomacy and politics.
