Third and Fourth Year pupils have successfully completed their Silver Arts Award this term.

The Arts Award, managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England, enables young people to research, plan, complete and review a creative project of their own choosing, as well as developing leadership skills in their chosen area. From fashion design to model-making, jazz composition to playwriting and photographic books to novellas, the boys have embraced the opportunity to produce projects of impressive quality.

The Hamptonians also participated in the Arts Award Leadership Day for visiting prep school pupils, leading workshops on a wide range of diverse creative skills, including animation, film making, photography, fashion design, music, drama, model making and website design.

Co-ordinator of the Arts Award, Mrs Louise Teunissen, congratulated the boys on all their hard work:

The standard of work this year has been incredibly high. Creativity is a highly important skill for the future, and it is fantastic to see Hampton boys embracing that through the Arts Award.
