First Year pupils enjoyed their visit to the Winchester Science Centre, exploring the interactive exhibits and the largest planetarium in the country.

The hands-on activities included a Journey Through the Colon to discover good and bad bacteria before delving into the amazing worlds of inner and outer space.

The pupils also discovered how to become a rocket scientist while taking part in the centre’s Rocket Challenge. Working in teams the boys created cardboard rockets, before the scientists launched them in a competition to see which design travelled the furthest.
