Hampton Art Technician, Mr Jeremy Blighton, has been selected to exhibit his art at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. It is the ninth time that Mr Blighton’s work has been shown at what is the world’s largest open-submission spectacle.

Mr Blighton’s piece of work, a linocut, entitled To the Modern World was inspired by urban subjects and his fascination of people moving through public spaces. His etchings typically focus on dynamic compositions of figures and landscapes, from historic to modern-day settings.

Over 12,000 artists, from around the world, submit work to the RA’s prestigious annual celebration of art and creativity with only 10% of pieces eventually being selected for the show.

Many congratulations to Mr Blighton on this remarkable achievement.
