Hampton’s U16 footballers have completed their FA Level One Coaching Qualification after a week of intensive training.

The course is the first stepping-stone on the core coaching pathway and consists of an introduction to coaching for young players alongside seven modules and two workshops in Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid. The modules are designed to build, develop and extend their football practises.

Mr David Burke, Director of Football, praised the boys for completing the award:

This is the first year that we have run the coaching award and it has proven to be highly popular and successful. I am really pleased that 24 of our U16 footballers have chosen to take this award and continue their Football development in their own time, having just finished their GCSE exams. I would like to thank the Middlesex FA tutors for their excellent delivery.
