Fifth Year linguist Jack Lucas has excelled in a prestigious language examination.
The Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) is issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education to show proficiency in the Spanish Language. Jack sat a series of challenging examinations in Central London, including an oral exam, listening, reading and writing papers.
Spanish teacher, Mr Chris Blachford, congratulated Jack on his success:
The DELE is an extremely challenging qualification and is far tougher than the requirements of IGCSE. It needs a great deal of maturity and self-determination, we are all really proud of what Jack has achieved!
