The annual New Boys’ Concert featured 36 First and Third Year pupils who treated parents and staff to an evening of entertainment. Music was varied and diverse ranging from Vivaldi to Guns N’ Roses and Bizet to Ed Sheeran with instruments played from the Electric Guitar to the Euphonium.
Director of Music, Mr Iain Donald, praised the boys on their first performance in the Hammond Theatre:
Back to All ArticlesThe New Boys’ Concert is a wonderful event. Seeing boys perform at the very start of their musical career at Hampton, and knowing how much of a contribution many of them will make in the years to come is simply tremendous. It has always been one of my favourite concerts, and this year’s new musicians certainly raised the bar. The musical future of the School is in secure hands with so many talented youngsters.
