This term’s Lower School production of The Ramayana was a colourful and vibrant display of acting, dancing, music, poetry and puppetry. The Ramayana is an ancient and epic narrative poem, which forms the basis of Hinduism.

This was a collaborative project involving the Drama, English, Art, Music and RS Departments with 38 cast members, including Hampton boys, and girls from LEH School.

Congratulations to the dedicated and enthusiastic ensemble who created a fantastic performance of the Indian tale. A particular mention goes to Oscar White for his committed role as Assistant Director.

The Director, Mrs Laura Moore, said she was thrilled with the performance:

I am so very proud of what the wonderful Ramayana ensemble was able to achieve in their performance. They worked incredibly hard to produce a fantastic piece of storytelling which incorporated many technical challenges. They successfully brought the story of Rama and Sita to life for the enthralled audience.
