Hampton’s Senior and Junior athletes have excelled this season with four boys setting Borough and County records across a range of competitions.
First Year pupils Hayden Christian (75m Hurdles) and Kieran Bouwmeester-Reid (High Jump), Third Year Louis Middleton (80m Hurdles) and Fifth Year Matthew Collingridge (Discus) have all broken Richmond Borough and Middlesex County records.
It has been a strong season all round for Hampton Athletics. The Middlesex County Championships saw a flurry of Gold medals for our Juniors Louis Middleton, Neo Sukhraj-Hammerl and Antonio Polleri, with Intermediates Matthew Collingridge and Sam Southall also winning their events.
Louis, Neo and Antonio, along with Jeseper Hartikainen, were selected to represent Middlesex County at the South East Combined Events Championships in June, and Louis (80m Hurdles), Matthew (Shot Put) and Sam (1500m) will compete for Middlesex at the National Championships in July.
