I am sorry to inform you that our School community has received some very upsetting and extremely sad news.
It was with great sadness that we learned this week that Alan Jones, our wonderfully talented Head of Keyboard Studies, has passed away. Alan was an inspiration for very many Hamptonians over nearly three decades at the School.
I know that many will share our profound admiration for Alan. He was a piano virtuoso, and a kind, caring man who was a hugely valued member of our School. He will be sorely missed. Alan’s funeral arrangements: There will be a Requiem Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Pwllheli, on Saturday, 28th July at 10am, followed by internment at Llanfaelrhys church yard, Rhiw.
