Sixth Form is a time of personal growth where you can explore many new opportunities, study your favourite subjects in depth, and have plenty of fun. A warm, supportive environment encourages you to achieve your best among like-minded young people while offering the perfect grounding to move on to university and the world of work.

Meet our Sixth Formers

Hampton Sixth Formers are role models and set a friendly, purposeful atmosphere throughout the School. Benefitting from the superb Sixth Form facilities, and enjoying more independence, senior pupils are looked up to by the younger boys and serve as ambassadors for the School.

In recognition of their maturity and position of leadership in the School, Sixth Form pupils now replace school uniform with smart business dress.

School Leaders

The positions of the School Captains’ team, Prefects and Mentors are awarded to Sixth Form pupils who embody the ethos of the School, serve as role models to younger boys and act as ambassadors. They lead by example in every setting and offering advice and support to younger Hamptonians.

As a large School we’re able to offer an exciting and ambitious Sixth Form programme, and our high staff-to-pupil ratio allows us to provide an exceptional level of individual support.

Meet the Heads

Both the Upper and Lower Sixth Form years have their own leadership teams to ensure tailored, expert support for every Hamptonian. Hear from our Heads of Sixth Form Ms Smith and Mr Baker OH (2002).

Sixth Form Spaces

Our state-of-the-art Sixth Form Study Centre, the Barry Martin Centre, is at the heart of the School and provides space for private and independent study as well as collaborative work.

The Centre is also home to the Heads of Lower and Upper Sixth and our specialist UCAS and Careers Department which offers exceptional resources and access to Hampton’s global alumni network spanning the full range of professions and industry sectors.

The Sixth Form Common Room offers space to relax and socialise and includes a very popular snack and panini bar. Sixth Form Hamptonians also benefit from eating lunch separately from the rest of the School, fostering a sense of independence and community among senior pupils.
