Some of our Lower Sixth boys returned to School for the first time this week since lockdown began over three months ago.

The Sixth Formers enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with friends and teachers and their return to the classroom was also an opportunity for them to commence composing their Personal Statement as they will begin filling in their UCAS forms for university application at the start of the autumn term.

Headmaster Kevin Knibbs commented:

We have witnessed first-hand the restorative, uplifting effect that being back on the School site has for boys.  It has been evident that the opportunity to have a face-to-face discussion with their Form Tutor or another member of the pastoral team has been among the highlights for them.

Head of Lower Six, Miss Polly Holmes, said it was an occasion to celebrate:

It has been wonderful to begin welcoming back our Lower Sixth pupils. The boys have shown remarkable resilience over the past three months but were undoubtedly very happy to be back with their school friends and teachers once again. It was a productive day all round!
