The School’s outstanding pastoral care continued throughout the site closure period; Form Tutors, Heads of Year, members of the senior team and our dedicated Counsellors were available to offer personal support.
To maintain a sense of structure and routine, pupils registered each morning on the School intranet by 8.45am. In addition, pupils enjoyed live sessions with their Form Tutors and the rest of their Form at the beginning of each day at e-Hampton on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, enabling daily contact between Form Tutors and their tutees to be maintained.
Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) periods (Monday and Thursday period 3) were conducted as ‘live’ sessions on the video platform Microsoft Teams and used by Form Tutors for short discussions on PSHE tasks or topics of interest. In addition, lessons from the Wellbeing and Resilience course were uploaded to the School intranet each week for boys to complete.
To help support our strong sense of community, weekly School assemblies continued.
