There were some very happy children at Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep this week, as friends got the chance to see each other for the first time in over ten weeks. After ensuring that government recommended guidelines were in place regarding hygiene measures and maintaining social distancing, staff welcomed back children from Kindergarten, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.

Headmaster, Mr Tim Smith, said it was marvellous to hear the corridors filled with children’s laughter again:

The past couple of months have been a challenging time for the whole School community and while it is of course marvellous to see some of our pupils again, most of our children and staff still remain at home, in line with government guidelines, to try and prevent a second spike in the coronavirus pandemic. I have been very impressed with how the boys and girls are managing: keeping busy and active and fully engaged in the guided home learning programme that we are providing but I am sure, like all of us, they are very much looking forward to the day when everyone can return to Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep.
