Hampton School has its own 8m high, 7 sided Bendcrete Climbing Wall and Arch. This facility meets professional climbing standard and was designed by one of the country’s leading climbers and a Hampton old boy, Neil Gresham. The Hampton School Rock Wall is available for boys keen to learn and improve their rock climbing skills. Boys are offered climbing as one of the Games options for Third Year and above.
Climbing Club
Boys currently meet on Monday and Friday lunchtimes. We also offer them the opportunity to visit local climbing walls and several of the Adventure Society Trips include rock climbing and abseiling. Boys are instructed by fully qualified members of staff. Many of the boys go on to compete for either the School or local clubs.
