Hampton boys are entering one of the world’s most exciting competitions for budding engineers, the Shell Eco-marathon.

The goal is to design, build and drive energy-efficient cars from scratch, pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible, all with the aim of consuming the least amount of energy.

Hamptonians have been painstakingly developing their prototype, spending every available moment in the Design & Technology Department to work on their eco-car. The plan is to be trackside at the 2019 Shell Eco-marathon next summer.
