Hampton School Boat Club delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s National Schools’ Regatta, with all of its Eights securing coveted spots in the A finals, and half the crews picking up medals.

Junior and senior rowers brought home 32 medals between them after racing in challenging weather conditions, as they returned to Nottingham’s National Water Sports Centre. It was a challenging regatta with windy and choppy conditions, but all the rowers put in a great performances which reflects the hard work and effort they have put in over the year.

Director of Hampton Rowing, Mr Greenaway, shared his praise for the Hampton rowers:

We are extremely proud of all the boys who raced at this year’s NSR, it was a fantastic team event. To have all the Eights in the A finals was a great achievement and the crews and their coaches are to be congratulated on an outstanding set of results for the club.
